IMPORTANT
NOTICE - Registration of Sale Vehicles
NSW
registered buses and coaches;
In
accordance to the Roads and Traffic Authority of NSW, all vehicles
registered by an Accredited Operator by the Ministry of Transport
are required to sell their vehicles unregistered or with standard
alpha-numeric plates.
All
MO (Metro Omnibus), m/o (Motor Omnibus) and TV (Tourist Vehicle)
plates must remain the property of the accredited owner and are
not transferrable with the sale of any vehicle.
The
sale of a vehicle with registration is the owner / seller's decision.
All
other States & Territories;
It
is at the owner / seller’s discretion to decide to sell the vehicle
with or without current registration and will be discussed upon
enquiry of the vehicle by interested parties.
It
must be clearly indicated on the vehicle’s tax invoice of the agreement
between buyer and seller regarding the vehicle being registered
or unregistered at the time of purchase.
Finance
/ Encumberance Checks
It
is recommended before agreeing to purchase any vehicle that an encumberance
check is completed and clear of any financial interests.
